Weekly Update

Here are the girls in Spanish class on Wednesday holding their Dia de los Muertos skeletons!

The girls have earned 75 class compliments! To celebrate, we will play some Gimkits for fun, bring in blankets, and have a small treat. This will happen on Monday, November 18!

We are in the thick of our math unit on multiplication and division. The main message I keep reiterating to the girls is the importance of a strong fact recall. In Google Classroom, I have added many resources that they may use to practice any facts they find difficult. There are songs and games they can access. Here is the link on our fourthie site to access Google Classroom. They then log in with Google using their school email credentials. I am really asking them to own their learning and mastery of facts, and take the initiative to practice what they need to practice.

I have also explained to the girls an optional Thanksgiving math challenge and it is linked on this blog. I look forward to seeing who participates. It is due after the break!
